HOW 'BOUT THEM COWBOYS!!!!!!

My father came to the US from Colombia back in the 70's (back when the Cowboys were awesome) and instantly became a fan.  Of course, that fandom was passed down unto me.  Growing up as a Cowboys fan in the middle of Giants and Eagles Nation was not the easiest - all the hate, smh . What was even more difficult is trying to dress-up or style fan gear.

This Saturday, at the pre-season game, I went for a simple look.  I wore a t-shirt I recently purchased to rep my Dallas Cowboys pride and threw on some jeans.  To add some color to my all navy and white ensemble, I wore my light purple Nike's (my faves!) and rocked some hot pink nails.

My hair and make-up where my accent pieces for the game.  It took me over 1.5 hours to do my hair (blah!).  Being that my hair is curly, I spent an hour blowdrying it then went over it with my wand.  I wanted to add in some curls since it was going to be somewhat humid and if my hair decided to fight me and curl again, it already had a head start - not my best idea but whatever.

For my make-up I tried to go for the 'natural' look.  Which, based on my list of products, is not that natural haha.  Oh well. I used a BB Cream since it is lighter than a foundation and has SPF in it - awesome combo! The bronzer, highlighter and blush I chose came from the Urban Decay, Naked Flush Palette.  I wish I knew the exact name of the specific one I have (should be the correct one I linked).  I wanted just a touch of color on my lips so I lined them with a mauve colored liner from NYX and topped them off with my favorite lipstick from Make Up Forever, N9.

I really liked this outfit simply because of its simplicity.  In the future, I plan on experimenting more and trying to figure out some trendy ways to dress up these t-shirts..

In the meantime,  let me know what your favorite football team is and how you style your fan gear.

With love,
