So to start... I had the opportunity to travel Europe with my bestfriend Maia! Woohoo!!
There is still so much excitement running through my bones and I definitely caught the travel bug. I'm itching to see more and more of this world.
We started off in Londonnnnn *cue Fergie - London Bridge*
If I could afford it, I would move to London in a heartbeat. The weather, food, people, architecture (sigh!). Everything was so wonderful and such a surreal start to our trip.
First off, we did soooooo much walking in London. So if there's one piece of advice That I have it's to wear comfortable (and cute) shoes. We stayed at the YHA on Oxford Street, which is somewhat hidden but a great location. Yes, it is a hostel and I would stay there again. The price was awesome, the staff was accommodating and they had a pub crawl! The Camden Pub Crawl is a great way to meet new people. Maia and I met a group of girls that were staying at our hostel and were going to be in Barcelona on the same dates. I could go on and on about the YHA and the Pub Crawl alone, but on to other things...
Where I ate: I can't remember all of the names, but every meal that we had was amazing. The only one I can remember is Whyte and Brown and that's only because it was my favorite meal. Try the sweet potato fried loaded with chorizo and feta, you won't regret it.
Where I shopped: Carnaby Steet, Oxford Circus and Picadilly Circus. Tons of shopping at all 3 locations. The TopShop in London is to die for.. such a great selection.
Since I've been home, I cannot stop thinking about this trip and London in particular. It reminded me so much of home with a twist and awesome accents. Until next time London!
